Came at about 11:30 am, just over 12 hours before it was supposed to come out. Of course, I was working, but I managed to put in a good 5 hours of Zelda tonight. Zelda is great, the controllers actually feel really good. I don't have a Pro controller yet, so I've been using the JoyCons in their little grip dock thing, and it feels fine. After a little bit, I forgot I wasn't using a normal PS/Xbox type controller. Haven't had any chance to mess with 1-2 Switch yet, that'll tell more about how the JoyCons handle on their own. Also have yet to really use the console as a handheld.

Couldn't actually get my hands on a Switch, but I *did* manage to score a copy of the Special Edition of Zelda: BotW. So I got the hard to find part that won't be restocked. I can wait for the 2nd shipment of consoles.
Gah, really regretting missing out on preordering now though. :lol
Also, TR Sixshot. Head's pounding so I don't feel like messing with him tonight, but I'm looking forward to cracking him open.

I actually lucked into one by virtue of some really awesome regulars at my work. They knew I wanted one and on saturday when I went in they were there, they mentioned they got one and if I wanted it it was mine (no markup, I just paid them what they paid for it). Made my whole day.
Come to find out from my buddy who worked the launch, they told him they were *buying it for ME* because they knew I wasn't gonna be able to get one that day (since employees can't line cut).
Just some genuinely amazing people.

(Also my brother's Birthday gift for a couple weeks from tomorrow: Daria the Complete Series...I ordered them all from Amazon, and I think it passed through the facility he works at...which would be funny in a way).

My brother has been asking around while doing house renovations if people have any old toys. Got lucky today! He paid $40 for a box of goodies!
Mostly Gobots, and a G1 Outback.
The Gobot Command Center is what excited me! Still works too.
