Re: Fresh Kills - February 2017
Picked up a couple of Megabloks TMNT Classic Mini Figure packs for $2 at a local Wally:
MB Classic Donatello and Leonardo.
All ahead of my MB Classics Party Wagon coming next week....thanks BR for getting me started down this path. I think Deino should share some blame. He's a brick influence.

Re: Fresh Kills - February 2017
After many weeks, my Oodama Rasengan lamp from Lamplanet has arrived. They almost sent me a replacement, since it seemed like it was stuck in some kind of limbo.
It works great and everything, changes color and has lighting effects. Really slick.
Downside is, though, the sockets for the foot pegs don't match up. The hole for the front foot socket is a few centimeters off from where it should be. Socketing the back foot is alright...it wobbles a little but doesn't fall down.
I've emailed Lamplanet about it...

Stick the foot down with some BluTack. That's what I do with figures and models that I don't trust to stay standing. Or, if you're feeling enterprising, use a pin vice to drill out a new hole in the right spot.

Depending on how Lamplanet was going to respond, I was considering using some power tools. They replied this morning, wanting pictures, and just as I get my phone ready, I try something I pondered previously...
I pulled Naruto loose, and stuck the front foot into its socket first. I gently slid the back foot into it place, and now it's fine. Could've used a little extra instruction (like a sheet of paper with a few pics), but yeah...s'all good.
