Re: DCCW-verse: 2016-2017 season
I'm of mixed feelings on the "Cisco forgives Barry" setup there. On one hand, it was pretty hacky and sorta forced. On the other hand, it got rid of "Sad Cisco" and allowed Team Flash to be normal again, so I'll !@#$ take it!

Re: DCCW-verse: 2016-2017 season
Meanwhile, at the STAR Labs abandoned aircraft hangar...
The 4-part crossover wasn't everything I wanted it to be, but I loved almost everything it actually was. The only real disappointment was the Supergirl portion. Had they not been selling it as a big 4-night crossover event I'd have been okay with it, but I was expecting more from "Part 1"
Not sure I like how quickly Thea picked the Speedy thing back up so quickly, but it was necessary to get her in place for the Arrow episode where she was DEFINITELY needed. That was one hell of a great 100th episode for that show.
Another small thing I wasn't too crazy about was the return of the Atom suit. I was kinda hoping the loss of it would set Ray on the path of actual shrinking powers...but there may still be hope for that. These shows have been known to illogically swerve quite a bit.

I've read quite a bit where people hate this line, but it really is the exact sort of thing this version of Ray would say aloud during a battle. His corny enthusiasm for the work is one of his most endearing characteristics.

Always try and remember that the Waverider has that sooper-dooper clothing machine that spits out all kinds of apparel. I have to remind myself of that almost weekly :lol
So yeah, I love the "TV Trinity" of Oliver, Barry, and Kara. It's just incredible how the Live-action TV, animated TV, and DVD portions of the DC media machine can consistently churn out quality entertainment while the cinematic portion keeps...well...s##ting on it's own d##k is the best way I can think to describe it. :P

You don't get it, man! They're all edgy and dark and REAL, man! They're not Marvel with their planned-out progression and writing with some semblance of heart and, and...thinking!
Man!
