Re: Fresh Kills - March 2015
Generations Hauls:
Chromia
Tankorr
Legends Bombshell
Legends Thundercracker
Legends Windcharger
Was disappointed to find out that the shots at ToyFair of TC and Windcharger as chestplates for Ultra Prime were mostly done on site and not actual functionality for the toys. They aren't *bad* toys per se, but I dunno if I'd have impulse bought them if I hadn't thought they were CW compatible.
Chromia is nice in both modes, but stiff getting between them and a little fidgety for my tastes. However, her face looks much better in person, so I'm fine with getting the Hasbro version over Takara.
Tankorr's vehicle mode is kinda sub-par, but as show accurate as possible in a Deluxe chassis. Could probably have been a voyager, but I like his stumpy stompy robot mode.
Bombshell is amazing, and I'm probably going to grab Shrapnel soon to go with him. Here's hoping for Kickback to complete the primary trio.

Re: Fresh Kills - March 2015
Mega Bloks sent me a Global Builders Community Toolkit.
These were prizes awarded over last year for elite builders. While I made second place nearly every single month, I never won. Sparky sent me one anyway.
Feel kinda bad getting it, as I didn't win or ask for it, it also upset some of the winners.
I have a rather large box of Transformers coming soon for Sabre, should be interesting. ..

Re: Fresh Kills - March 2015
Generations Legends arrival, well after their release date
- Tailgate
- Swerve
- Shrapnel/"Skrapnel"
Tailgate is nice, especially for a Lost Light member, but his Minicon partner, while cute (he's a minesweeper, aka bomb disposal), is a really lousy minicon. I remember when we considered Refute the low bar for these, but Tailgate's partner makes G1 Micromasters look good.
Swerve is a great little mold with a lot of personality, even if his vehicle mode takes a little fidgeting to get how it's supposed to transform. His targetmaster partner is a nice touch, and I really like the gun sculpt.
Shrapnel I bought because of Bombshell, but he's definitely the best of the three by my lights, and Reflector *actually turns into a camera*. I was shocked. My only complaint is that the handle is such that you can't have someone hold him right side up in camera mode. Both of them are otherwise great overall, even if Reflector's robot mode is a little weak due to compromises made for the other two modes.
