Sporky's Little Photoshop of Horrors
So on the Cheezburger Superheroes site, they mentioned the possible Supergirl series on CBS. and provided the following picture:
Someone in the comments made a crude MSPaint alteration, coloring her legs dark red. Aesthetically not the best, I did like idea, and got inspired to make some changes of my own. Not that great, but I think it gets across what I'm going for.
Personally, I like the second one the best. I was going to make one of them all red, like the commenter I mentioned, but I decided against it, because I feel they needed something else to break up the color.

Re: Sporky's Little Photoshop of Horrors
Inspired by the Supergirl 'shop above, I decided to do something I was contemplating for a while now. Specifically, since around the time of the New52 redesign for Power Girl.
I figured if the main purpose was to close her "window", the simplest thing to do would be to take her normal suit, and cover it up. Done deal, right? A minor alteration, but essentially the same. Like adding or removing the yellow orb from Batman's emblem. If I wanted to get conspiratorial, I would think maybe the initial redesign was SUPPOSED to be poorly received, so they could go back to the cleavage-bearing, leg-showing version. But that's just getting silly.
Anyway, I started off simple, using images from Superman/Batman: Public Enemies. First just covering the window, then giving her pants(I can hear the wailing fanboys now).
Then I decided to go with images from DC artists (because it felt more "official" than fan-images, I guess). Also, I got to add seams to the leggings that I think help pull the look together. Admittedly, the colored leggings don't work very well without changing the color of the boots...then you gotta change the gloves, and probably the cape. Something I might do later...
In each instance, my personal preference lies with the full-bodied look, where it looks like one white suit. Not that I have some enormous problem with the cleavage window, but I figure making P.G.'s look more appropriate wouldn't take an elaborate redesign. I think she still looks like Power Girl, and still looks like a superhero.

Re: Sporky's Little Photoshop of Horrors
I actually don't hate the new Supergirl costume. Of all the Nu25 costumes, her's is the one I actually like. Yeah, the knee thingies are kinda odd, but compared to some of the other changes, I actually like it.
Of course they're not going to make the live action girl run around in her underwear for several seasons, and they'd be better suited to aim more toward the Helen Slater costume than anything. But as far as a fictional drawing costume goes... I like it.

Re: Sporky's Little Photoshop of Horrors
I actually feel the same way about Supergirl's costume. It isn't horrendous like Red Robin, new levels of stupid like Starfire, color scheme redundant with other characters like Nightwing, or downright lazy-slash-proof-changes-weren't-really-needed like Bats, Supes, GL or Flash.
But for a live-action series, I think giving her pants is the way to go. I prefer the 90's look (which is essentially the Helen Slater look, I suppose), but I think the only way to work in a skirt is to give her some short leggings underneath, as shown in some of the pre52 comics. And even then, that might not fly on CBS.

Re: Sporky's Little Photoshop of Horrors
Azarath Metrion Zinthos! All-purpose spell for thread resuscitation!
If anyone noticed my Starfire-Batgirl thread, the following pics were actually done before those. In the Teen Titans GO! episode "Legs", Raven became a new superhero, and that kind of kick-started the "what would this look like in the old animation style" train of thought I've had.
First of two. It's mostly from a promo image, but it had the hood. I 'shopped on a different head, it never looked right. I then used the one were she's looking at Cyborg, about to wallop him with a stank-ball, and it worked wonders.
Second of two. From "Spellbound" (like the head in the previous picture, and wow I just got deja vu...and a little deja vu within deja-vu). I'll admit, changing her costume in the is frame changes the context from "what a great morning" to "hey, suckahs! The party has arrived!"

Re: Sporky's Little Photoshop of Horrors
GUYS! There's a new Suicide Squad-mate!
(I can't take all the credit. Chris Hardwick made a joke on "@midnight", and when my brother found no 'shopped images, I decided to take stab at it. Didn't take me that long...)

Re: Sporky's Little Photoshop of Horrors
In brightest day, in blackest night,
No evil shall escape my BOO-YAH!
For once, I'm mashing up one of the male Titans with a bit from the GO! series. If the episode has aired yet (featuring the Titans dressed as Leaguers, and with guest voice "Weird" Al Yankovic), I haven't seen it yet. Goin' by a picture that started popping up last week or so.
